Growing up in Long Island New York amongst mentors such as Prince Paul, Dave of (De La Soul) and the Legendary Rakim, B.A.M. is short for (BRILLIANCE ATTRACT MILLIONS) pertaining to money and a movement. B.A.M. learned the important tips on how to be a real successful artist in the Hip Hop game. At a time where an environment surrounded by drugs and violence B.A.M.’s mother did her best to keep him away from the streets. B.A.M. spent his days and nights studying his cousin’s record collection raging from Hip Hop, R&B, Disco to Jazz to keep out of trouble.

Performing in talent shows and recording little demo’s around the way at local D.J. studios, B.A.M. developed his own style after the likes of Rakim, Kool G Rap, Epmd etc. In order to develop his ear for music B.A.M. studied music at “Five Towns College” following in the foot steps of Wyclef Jean, Prince Paul, De La Soul and others.

In 1993 B.A.M. featured on The GRAVE DIGGAZ album “6 Feet Deep” with longtime deceased friend Too Poetic aka “Grim Reaper” along side RZA, FRUQUAN and PRINCE PAUL. The song was entitled “Nowhere to Run” This was the jump start of B.A.M. getting his feet wet being coached by the RZA through intense studio battling at late night sessions at “Fire House Studios”. Months later B.A.M. was signed to a Production contract through RUSSEL SIMMON’S RUSH PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT/ FES UP ENTERTAINMENT.

B.A.M.’s unique stutter style of rhyming turned many heads in the industry from WARNER BROTHERS, DEF JAM, and ATLANTIC etc. B.A.M. signed with SONY/COLUMBIA in 1995-97 recording an album entitled “THE COMING…COAST II COAST” bridging the east coast west coast gap in attempt to squash the beef. Working with legendary producer EASY MOE BEE, S.I.D., LG and “D” LA JACKSON and MARLY MARL. The recorded single set to drop was called “JOY RYDE” feat. BLACK STREET. B.A.M. had the pleasure of recording a ST. IDES beer commercial as well shortly after the album was complete. B.A.M. recalls the unforgettable stage performance at Jones Beach opening for the late great BIG L. The crowd welcomed him to the game officially. Other performances with LOST BOYZ, MOBB DEEP, MAREYA KARREY’s “NEGRO LEAGUE”, TOTAL and DA BRAT gave B.A.M. a lot of recognition as well. But due to over crowding and fighting for release dates it was difficult to compete with FUGEES, NAS, BIG L, CYPRESS HILL, MAREYA KARRY and JERMAINE DUPRI. B.A.M. continued to record by move on to another home. With labels such as BAD BOY, DEF JAM, UNIVERSAL in a bidding war, B.A.M.and his management team felt the numbers didn’t add up. B.A.M. decided to go independent.

In 1999 B.A.M. released the big street buzz rebuttal “WHY YOU ALL ON MY DILLZ” after Missy Elliot’s “WHY YOU ALL IN MY GRILL”. The hottest D.J.’s in and out of New York were playing the independent record. HOT 97’s FUNK MASTER FLEX dropped multiple bombs, STAR & BUCK WILD, FAT MAN SCOOP & MEGATRON, D.J. RED ALERT and D.J. ENOUGH on the “Traffic Jam”. B.A.M. worked with RUFF RYDERS artists with CEO WAH and SLEEP wrote songs with producer DREA TRAX of QUEENS N.Y. B.A.M. filmed a video for the follow up single “PIMP MY CAR” for MTV’s “PIMP MY RIDE” at F1 Motoring in New Jersey in 2006. The video had received a lot of views on My Space and You tube. B.A.M. also participated in an MTV SUCKER FREESTYLE for MTV in 2007. The song on B.A.M.’s mixtape “THE JO DERT PROJECT” hosted by POWER 105.1’s DJ SUSS ONE “EVERYBODY I KNOW” feat. G-UNIT’s LLOYD BANKS received over 50 thousand plays on “THESOURCE.COM”. In 2006, B.A..M. was featured on the hit television series “WIFE SWAP” as a hip hop mentor. B.A.M. has won the WORLD FAMOUS “COP SHOP” OPEN MIC BATTLE TWO MONTHS IN A ROW JUNE 08 and JULY 08.

B.A.M. has felt like working with BIG NOYD on his new release to be “fun, and natural, the way Hip Hop is supposed to be made”. He appears on the KOCH release entitled “LETS GET IT RIGHT” feat G-UNIT’s 40 GLOCC. BIG NOYD, B.A.M., RIC RUDE recorded in the studio next to M.O.P. Working with LIL FAME who executive produced NOYD’s album was a unforgettable experience.

Shortly B.A.M. decided to invest his money into himself to market and promote himself as an artist. B.A.M. opened his own recording facility and began recording mixtapes and more independent record releases. B.A.M. moved to Brooklyn and started his own record label “WAR MACHINE INC.” recouping all profits with his partner Brooklyn’s own D.J. OMEN. B.A.M. joined forces with film producer JAIME ZEVALLOS writing screen plays. The duo optioned a comedy thriller entitled “TULUM” with NATIONAL LAMPOON expanding WAR MACHINE INC. into film and television.
