Ferhat Güzel is a Turkish folk music artist who is mostly known for his strange sense of humor and his striking resemblence to Burt Reynolds. Although he's often viewed as a comical figure instead of a musician, his special blend of different influences in his music keeps dazzling folk music critics. The most common examples of his experimental approach to "Türk Halk Müziği" are the Ornette Coleman-esque zurna solo on the intro of his song "Bu Gece", and the funky slap-bass on his song "Laf Aramızda".
