Fallen Wishes Lyrics

Take me away from here, this planet is all too weird.
I've got to get out of here, release this fear,
Forever in a day.
Listen to Dr. Jones, they're coming to break your bones.
He's coming to take you home just to somewhere,
Past the nowhere zone.
No strain, lose reigns, feeds like fire on a soul train.
Fallen wishes, fallen wishes.
Take me away from here, my dear, it's been dead for years.
I've got to get out of here, accommodate forever anyway.
Listen to Mrs. Jones, she's coming to take you home,
She's coming to make your bones,
Just somewhere past the no where zone.
No strain, loose reigns, feeds like fire on a slow train.
Fallen wishes, fallen wishes, fallen wishes, fallen wishes.
Keep turning, full circles.
Lives painted, in purple.
Keep learning, full circle.
Times changing, full circle.
Keep turning, full circle.
Lives changing, full circle.
Fallen wishes, fallen wishes, fallen wishes,
Fallen wishes, fallen wishes, fallen wishes.

In 1995, Jean Michel, Nono and Christian left their previous band, Seventeen. The 3 guys had already noticed Declan singing in pubs in Cork and were impressed, but the band didn’t get together then. The O’Shea brothers went to work in Euro Disney in France, but luckily on one of their home journeys the lads finally got together. Cyclefly was formed. At first the band was called Dogabone, and they released a EP in 1995 under this name. It was in 1997 that they changed their name to Cyclefly after being inspired by one of Declan’s paintings.

In 1999, Cyclefly released their debut album, Generation Sap and made their live debut at Whiskey on the Sunset Strip. In 2002 their second album, Crave, was released.

Christian and Declan Set up "Mako." and released their debut album "Living on Air" in 2010
