Since 2002 Gasmac Gilmore lead their audience through very diverse musical genres - after the striking animated splatter video and single ‘Zirkus’ (2004) and their debut album „Little Lucy“ (2006) Gasmac Gilmore now present their second album „About Boys And Dogs“. The Viennese band crosses stylistic borders between East and West, bubbles over with catchy riffs and weird hooklines while bridging the gaps between gentle ballads and unrestrained BalkanRock, between furious Punk salvos and humorous-grotesque folklore attacks.
On stage Gasmac Gilmore act joyfully while pulling neckbreaking stunts - absurd dances and mad breaks are guaranteed whenever the band plays a spontaneous concert such as those in the Viennese subway or on a ship at the Danube canal. joined the band while guest musicians Martin Schiske (Trombone, No Head on My Shoulders) and Florian Berner (Cello, Hugo Wolf Quartet) extended the musical range. Mastered at the German Skyline Tonfabrik (Beatsteaks, Madsen, Naked Lunch, ...) the results of the experiment unite danceable BalkanPunk, Rock and Ska with uncommon instruments such as mandolin, accordion, trombone and cello.
