After entering the music industry with a ..1 hit record, I Wish performed by Bad Boy recording artist Carl Thomas, songwriter and producer Michael Mike City Flowers proved his staying power in a big way. He boasts an impressive list of song credits and has worked with some of todays most talented artists including Kenny Babyface Edmonds, Usher, Brandy, Yolanda Adams, Gerald Levert, Kelly Price and Mary Mary. Creating his own niche has truly paid off. After enjoying the success of I Wish, which stayed on top of the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Singles & Tracks chart for six weeks and was ..1 on Billboards Hot R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart for eleven weeks, Mike City quickly followed up with another R&B hit One Woman Man performed by DreamWorks recording artist Dave Hollister. The record enjoyed huge radio success and was a top ten Billboard R&B/Hip Hop single. His next success came from his protg, SoulLife/Atlantic recording artist Sunshine Anderson, whom he groomed and introduced to the music world with the hit womens anthem Heard It All Before. The song topped Billboards Hot R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart for five weeks, was a top five Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Single and a top twenty Hot 100/Pop single. Mike City topped the charts again with J Records recording artist Jimmy Cozier singing his smooth mid-tempo track Shes All I Got, which hit top five on Billboards R&B/Hip Hop Singles chart and top twenty on the Hot 100/Pop chart.

His streak continued with the title track to Grammy Award winning superstar Brandys platinum album Full Moon. The single was the most added record at radio in the United States during the first week it was released. Brandy is one of the few artists Ive always wanted to work with, says Mike, whose list of hopefuls includes Mariah Carey and Justin Timberlake. 2005 was a great year, I stayed on the grind working with alot of artist.
