Based in Amsterdam, Luke Nyman is not quite an Englishman as you'd expect. Having enjoyed his Amsterdam life for 20 years, he has built up his musical & technical skills side by side.

As well as performing solo, from 'Live in the Livingroom' house concerts to the Paradiso in Amsterdam, he regularly joins other singer-songwriers, Ro Halfhide, Lake Montgomery & Tony Chapman on stage as pianist, guitarist or bassist.

He has also created & been part of differing musical projects, including The Travlin' Tunes (trio - 2009), The Nyman Brothers (band - 2008) & Ottow Darling (duo - 2000~2007).

Also in 2009, together with art photographer Delphine Bedel, he travelled across America during the first 90 days of the 44th President, & produced 'From the Sidelines: A Journey to Route 66' a multimedia exhibition in The Lakenhal Museum in Leiden, a show in The Brakke Grond in Amsterdam, a travelogue video & a forthcoming book.
