Hailing from Roanoke, VA, this multi-talented singer songwriter is based out of Nashville, TN, and travels all over the US, leading worship for camps, churches, festivals, and conferences. Worship is not just a passion to Kurtis, but a lifestyle. It's what we were created for, and it's evident when Kurtis is on stage, that the main attraction is God's presence, not Kurtis' gift.
Gaining national attention after his American Idol appearance in 2005, where he climbed to the top 50, Kurtis has written over 1300 songs and has had several tunes on national radio, in video games, and runs his own publishing company, 3 Leaves Music. He's also produced several projects, including his younger sister Bethany (www.myspace.com/bethanyandtheguitar) and Larysa Hamilton.
Kurtis has written with #1 songwriters Keith Dudley, Scott Davis, and Aaron Rice, and continues to write new songs every day.
