Flashback (Live at Roundhouse 2008) [Bonus Track] Lyrics

There's something natural in the way you touch me
it's a feeling that I can't describe
something mystic in that soul connection
something magic in your misty eyes

Don't you say that it's all the same
don't you say that it's all the same, no
'cos there's something that I can't explain, 'bout this
something that I can't explain, yeah yeah

I can't explain
Oh no ooh
Hey, yeah

before the night is over
i wanna shake the question
i wanna leave it for now
without another mention
we should be letting go
instead of holding on
but in the eye in my mind
the mystery is born

no use in looking further
you know it isn't there
and you can stare all you want
the answers won't appear
try to find it but i lose myself
i lose myself in you
i said, i lose myself in you
yes, i lose myself in you
yeah, i lose myself in you

breathe easy lovers (x4)
breathe easy

i know you're only wasting time
breathe easy
questioning between the lines
breathe easy
feeling knows no name
it is, what it is, and there's no explaining
what it is, what it is, yeah yeah-eah
there's something natural in the way you touch me
it's a feeling that i can't describe
something mystic in that soul connection
something magic in your misty eyes

don't you say that it's all the same
don't you say that it's all the same, no
'cos there's something that i can't explain, 'bout this
something that i can't explain, yeah yeah

Fat Freddy's Drop is a 7 piece live Dub/Reggae band from Wellington, New Zealand. Founded in 2001, the current lineup consists of DJ Fitchie, Joe Dukie, Toby Chang, HoPepa, Chopper Reedz, Jetlag Johnson, and Dobie Blaze. The name "Fat Freddy's Drop" is a reference to a piece of blotter art that was circulating in the NZ dance scene in the late 90's.

Fat Freddy's Drop have now released their second major studio album, Dr Boondigga & The Big BW - shipping GOLD on the first day of release on 26th May 2009. Featuring Art & Design by Otis Frizzell, the album features nine fresh phat tracks that span soul, dub, reggae, techno, blues flavors.

The group's first major release was a live album, Live at the Matterhorn, a lengthy jam session recorded in a popular Wellington night club. Their first studio album, Based on a True Story was released in 2005. After only a day of release it had gone gold and was number one in the New Zealand album charts despite having little advertising or marketing. The album's first single, "Wandering Eye", spent 17 weeks in the RIANZ Top 40 Singles Chart and peaked at number six.

Freddy's dominated the 2005 New Zealand Music Awards, taking Best Group, Best Album, Best New Zealand Roots Group and the Peoples Choice Award. On December 18, 2005 the group were awarded the Worldwide "Album of the Year Award", as voted for by over 20,000 listeners of Gilles Peterson's BBC Radio 1 'Worldwide' show.

They won three awards at the 2006 New Zealand Music Awards (18 October). The People's Choice Award, the Highest Selling NZ Album ([album/artist=fat freddy's drop]Based On A True Story[album/artist]) and Best Music Video for the single Wandering Eye.

Midnight Marauders and Hope both scaled to the number one spot on Gilles Peterson’s top twenty Worldwide picks in 2002 and 2003 respectively.

From the underground to the higher-ground, Fat Freddy’s Drop do it for the love of music, and food!
