Iluminata is born of a group of kindred souls with a penchant for rock music. It embodies a melting pot of diverse styles and idioms from all over the world structured in a heavy melodic sound that often pays tribute to Spanish gypsy music and their own Latin roots, among others. These artistic explorations are not limited to the musical, and so they will eventually be heard singing in various different languages. Their first project delves into acoustic, unplugged versions of their ever-expanding original songbook. Thematically, Iluminata explores even the darkest recesses of their very human souls as they strive to find a positive meaning and message in their life experience. The do not shy away from passion and aggression even as they turn them into a celebration of life. As day follows night, the band does not hide their shadows, but at the same time they make it very clear they walk a certain path towards the light.
