The Earthly Frames is a one-man-band from Maryland. The man in question is Gabriel Walsh (brotherclone). He used to go under the name “Your Team Ring” when recording. He was also in some other bands like Timesbold and Wooden Wand and the Vanishing Voice. But that’s all behind us now, isn’t it?

Earthly Frames music is very thick and noisy. It builds off samples from country, folk and pop music from a long time ago. There is the sense that this music is lyrically gothic, as it describes scenes of people losing touch with reality, feeling haunted and generally spooked out. But please, don’t worry. Put away your eye liner, it’s going to all be okay. We’re going to work through this together.

The Earthly Frames first release called “Volume 1″ is also a game of sorts. Each copy of the recording contains a unique “fragment” that when all assembled sheds some light on the origin of the Earthly Frames.

What do you ‘win’ for playing along? We’ll see if you can collectively find all fifty fragments before we discuss victories and surrenders.
