The Delorean, aka Matthew Slaughter, has been making music in one form or another since he was about 13. Almost two decades later, having dabbled in independent rock music and 'beats', Slaughter has finally produced an album of 'electronic' based music inspired by his love of film, prog rock and 1980's pop music.

The debut album "The Adventures of Foley" begins with 'Naked', a stark, crisp kick and snare based track which gradually devolves into damp textures, giving rise to the darkly playful dystopia of 'Foley', who really is the star of the show. From there, the marriage of Delorean's idiosynchratically detailed production style and his odd sense of melody take us for a compelling ride. We meet the elderly night owls of 'Club 75', get some unexpected saxophone riffs, mourn the death of Foley on the farm and experience some hope that not is all dark and full of unrest when the closing credits, at last, begin to roll.

Delorean is seeking a supportive label and distribution, and in the meantime will self-release his first album with a limited edition run of 100 or so digipack hard copies followed by an online digital release.
