Tiny Cinema is the stage name for Darren Jilks, an alternative/acoustic artist from Leicester, UK.

Darren has been playing for around three years as Tiny Cinema; originally as a side project whilst playing in other bands, Tiny Cinema has now become the main focus of Jilks' time, which was affirmed with his signing to Brave or Invincible records in September 2009.

The first two Tiny Cinema EPs "Good Morning/City Blues" and "When the Light Comes" have been reissued by Brave or Invincible Records online as a free download from Last fm, Bandcamp, ReverbNation and other outlets and his debut album "Designs" is set for release at the end of 2009.

Influences include such artists as Wheat, The National and REM, and comparisons have been made with Bon Iver and Elliot Smith.
