Hailing from the historic city of New Orleans, Water Seed permeates the future of American music. International critics have praised Water Seed for their ability to generate masterful grooves.

After hurricane Katrina Water Seed was displaced and took refuge in the city of Atlanta and they have been on the move ever since. In 2006 they released their 1st EP “Two Words” which introduced them to the scene. In 2008 they release their live wonder hit CD “Early for the Future- live in Atlanta” which gained international acclaim and solidified their path.

Now Water Seed is back with their 1st studio cd FRESH. FRESH takes the listener through a kaleidoscope of sound and wonder. FRESH opens with the smooth “These are the Dayz”. A track that gets the listener clapping and head bobbing. Then the cd zips to the instant dance hit” Starz in my bedroom”. This track ends with the a catchy chant that beckons the listener to “DANCE”. On the next track “New Day” Water Seed creates a new anthem for prosperity and courage. This funk groove (a la Prince circa the album 1999) gets you up on your feet from beginning to end.
