There are two bands under the name Prologue.

Prologue (Finland)
Prologue is a band from Soukka in Espoo, Finland. The band was formed in the year 1998, and in the following year they played their first gig which obviously was a massive succé. The band recorded also their first demo tape in 1999.

As an indierock band they are alternative pop music, but here the word "alternative" does not equal to complicatedness. The musical aim of Prologue has always been the sincere interpretation of Timo Miettinen´s songs. In the course of the band´s history, rough guitar walls have been replaced by more acoustic ones - and the piano plays a more important role than it used to.

In 2005 the band released their first official EP called "Stars are Holes in the Sky". It was warmly received in music media; desibeli.net considered it to be one of the best Finnish EPs in the year 2005.


Prologue (USA)
Formed in mid-2008, Prologue (USA) came to be after a few friends agreed upon being sick of the state of cookie-cutter music. With powerful lyrics and driven songwriting, Prologue targets the apathy that has consumed our generation and the sense of aimlessness that has plagued our minds. Birthed out of Orange County, California, the band is poised to be ambassadors of substance in a culture of vanity.

The full-length CD, "The World At Midnight" (2008), was Prologue's first release and is growing rapidly in Southern California. Multitudes of shows are currently being booked for them; the future looks bright.
