Since words can literally not describe the sound of Jeremy and his Time Machine, we must instead rely on pictures to describe the music. But what kinds of pictures? A trained bear playing a surprisingly complex fugue on a toy organ? Frank Zappa playing guitar while riding his camel through a giant sandbox? Brian Wilson frantically trying to fit an entire string ensemble into his shower? Daniel Johnston playing to sold out Vegas crowd, while a group of African drummers invent new rhythms in the next room? An exposed guitar cable being run through a tuba, and somehow forming a haunting symphony? It would have to be a mural with all of these, plus a series of indeterminable shapes which only the listener himself can interpret. As with all truly exciting music, Jeremy and his Time Machine is going to sound different to everyone lucky enough to hear it.
