James William Marriott, born July 7, 1997, age 28, is a Swiss-born English YouTuber and musician who currently resides in Brighton, England, known for his commentary based videos - although he last uploaded one in 2022 - where he gives his input on trending events in a comedic, witty fashion. James was a member of the now-inactive YouTube group the Eboys, and co-founded Rodd's (a brand of iced coffee) with fellow ex-Eboys member WillNE.

James' first entry into music involved acoustic music, before he started making diss tracks against people like Lele Pons during his commentary era. His first professional song was the 2020 single Slow Down, a song that he eventually grew to disapprove, after which he released two EPs - No Left Brain (which features hit single Him) and Bitter Tongues.

He announced his debut album Are We There Yet? in March 2023, and released the debut single from the album - So Long in June of that year. He released two more singles - Romanticise This in July and Don't Blame Me in October, before releasing the album on the 10th of November.

James released the debut single for his sophomore album Don't Tell The Dog - I Don't Want To Live Like This - in February of 2025, releasing three more singles (Toothache in March, It's Only Love in May, and in June) before releasing the album on the 13th of June 2025. The album has since gone #1 in the UK album charts, his first #1.
