At the age of sixteen, Jekalyn is an entrepreneur, national recording artist and profound preacher. Her passion for ministry began at the early age of five. During this time, her parents recognized that had an extreme anointing and gift. Many doors began to open in her life because of her powerful voice, ministry and inspiration she has become to others. At the age of thirteen, Jekalyn acknowledged her calling for preaching. Since then she has appeared on platforms with some of God’s greatest artists. Pastor Donnie McClurkin prophesied that she would travel around the world ministering. Benny Hinn also stated that she was 'God’s chosen to help lead and inspire many.'

Jekalyn has spoken and sung in crowds of 17,000 plus. She has been featured on "This Is Your Day" with Pastor Benny Hinn. Jekalyn has also appeared on TBN, The Word Network and Bobby Jones Gospel on BET singing and ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jekalyn Carr is impacting the Gospel radio airplay charts with her hit single ‘Greater Is Coming’, which has been in the top ten on the Billboard Charts. The project was released on the family’s record label Lunjeal Music Group, which is distributed by Malaco Music Group. The song ‘Greater Is Coming’ speaks of the shaking, the beating, and the pressing in which we sometimes experience in life. Jekalyn has been recently featured in the documentary 'Rejoice and Shout' by Magnolia pictures where she opened up singing Amazing Grace. Featured were Smokey Robinson, Andrae Crouch, Kirk Franklin and many more notable artists. Jekalyn was also recently featured in JET magazine under “Top Ten Faces You Need to Know” while being listed in Ebony Magazine for "Greater is Coming" as one of the best downloaded songs of the summer.
