Welcome to the duo called Sugarcane Jane. We are simple people just doing our thing. And we do it because we love it, nothing more, nothing less. So either love it or leave it. Influences, well, there are lots. Anthony has been sharing the stage with Neil Young since the early 80's. (International Harvestors, Shocking Pinks, Electric Band) He has also joined Steve Winwood, Dwight Yoakam, Blackhawk, Nicolette Larson, Sonny James and others on world tours.

Steve Winwood, The Oak Ridge Boys, Kenny Rogers, Lee Greenwood, and Lorrie Morgan are a few who have recorded his songs. His catalog consists of an astonishing 400+ and counting.

Anthony grew up in Birmingham, Alabama which is something he has in common with his partner, Savana, who was also raised in Alabama along the Gulf Coast.

Their first harmonizing note was like a light bulb turning on in their minds and the search for the perfect singing companion was over for both artists. The tonal blend is something of a mystery to not be blood related and the kinetic energy between the two is heartwarming and enchanting. These two love what they do and it shows every time they play.

Anthony produced REDBIRD, Savana's debut album, which was well received and after Anthony's latest solo release, FIVE IS RED, which was recorded with Everest and Bo Koster (My Morning Jacket) earlier this year, they both decided to put all of their energy into the duo they now call 'Sugarcane Jane'.

Latest news is that Sugarcane Jane will be recording their official release debut album in Nashville, July of this year.
