Grave Digging Lyrics

Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey

I've been sitting in the suicide lane of Highway 99
Looking for a sign in the headlights
I've been to war with my mind but things will be different this time
I won't be putting up a fight

Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey

Give me your poison pills
Cause I'm digging my star-crossed grave tonight
No longer living a lie, no longer living
No longer living a lie, no longer living

Give me your poison pills
Cause I'm digging my star-crossed grave tonight
No longer living a lie, no longer living
No longer living a lie, hey, hey, hey

I've been sitting by the train tracks near the back door of my mind
Im waiting for the planets to align
I've got every good reason to make this open season
I hang my head above the mantle piece tonight

Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey

Give me your poison pills
Cause I'm digging my star-crossed grave tonight
No longer living a lie, no longer living
No longer living a lie, no longer living

Give me your poison pills
Cause I'm digging my star-crossed grave tonight
No longer living a lie, no longer living
No longer living a lie, hey, hey, hey

Grave digging
Grave digging
Grave digging
We're digging our own grave

Give me your poison pills
Cause I'm digging my star-crossed grave tonight
No longer living a lie, no longer living
No longer living a lie, no longer living

Give me your poison pills
Cause I'm digging my star-crossed grave tonight
No longer living a lie, no longer living
No longer living a lie, hey, hey, hey

Give me your poison pills
Cause I'm digging my star-crossed grave tonight
No longer living a lie, no longer living
No longer living a lie, hey, hey, hey

Grave digging
Grave digging
Grave digging
We're digging our own grave

The Classic Crime is a Seattle-based alternative rock band. They released their Tooth & Nail debut album, 'Albatross', in 2006. It marked the fastest first-week sales for a new artist in the history of T&N. The band members are Matt MacDonald (vocals), Justin DuQue (guitar), Robert "Cheeze" Negrin (guitar), Alan Clark (bass), and Paul "Skip" Erickson (drums).

While touring in support of their full-length album Albatross, the band created the Acoustic EP: Seattle Sessions, which was simply a compilation of songs they created while on the road.

Their next album, 'The Silver Cord', was released on July 22, 2008. With the album being based on the realities of life and death, it signals a move into an alternative genre for TCC. Exactly 5805 copies of 'The Silver Cord' were sold in the first week. 5805 is a significant number because it is a song title on the album and it is the address of the house where the band formed and began to break out.

In 2010, 'Vagabonds' was released.
