Marilyn Wright is a singer that goes beyond her musical peers' materialistic message with a mission that encompasses a twofold ministry: to use the medium of Urban/Gospel Christian music with a backdrop of infectious hip-hop rhythms and traditional R&B balladry, to reach kids for Christ, and to challenge them to grow in their faith instead of following the crowd. "I want other teens as well as myself to pursue a deeper relationship with God. Nothing is too big for God, no matter what you are going through."

Marilyn’s aim is to make music that the entire world, every age and nationality can relate to. "I want people to be encouraged and uplifted when they listen to my music." "And to give the world an alternative to what's already out there right now."

At the young age of 13, now 17, Marilyn is a seasoned performer and an anointed singer whose dynamic vocal ability and humble spirit has made an impressive impact on her audiences. Although Marilyn's first live performance was at age 7, she has been lifting her voice in song since the age of 3.

Marilyn is an straight "A" student and a member of the Honor Roll in the Maple Heights school district, and has participated in the gifted and talented programs since first grade. Based in Maple Heights, OH, Marilyn has made a name for herself by performing in a variety of churches, conferences, events and concerts all over the northeast region.

Some of Marilyn's musical accomplishments to date are being the grand prize winner of the 2003 Coca-Cola Talent Showcase Competition; where she won $5,000 for her school's music department and a trip for four to Walt Disney World, singing the Star Spangled Banner at the Cleveland Baron's Hockey Team @ Gund Arena, Showtime at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NY, April 2004. Marilyn also won first place at the 2004 All American Talent Showcase (Star Search) in July 2004 in Las Vegas, NV, and was selected as one of the top ten performers by UniverSoul Circus, 2004.
