MISUI (ミスイ) is a visual kei band from Tokyo, Japan, active since 2019. They are known for being part of the menhera kei subgenre, which often explores themes related to mental health and emotional struggles. The band consists of vocalist Ryu (柳) from the band ＭｏＮｏｌｉｔｈ, guitarists Minato (湊人) and Amane (天音), bassist Tetsuya, and drummer LANA (ラナ).

The band was officially formed on July 7, 2019, and the members were publicly revealed on July 13. MISUI made their debut performance on September 28, 2019, at IKEBUKURO EDGE. Their concept revolves around expressing human weakness through their lyrics and sound, often dealing with themes of psychological vulnerability. The band's name, MISUI, which translates to "unsuccessful attempt", referencing attempted suicide, reflects these themes. Vocalist Ryu explained that the name also embodies the idea of achieving something in the future, offering a message of hope.

Their debut mini-album, Moeru Gomi (燃えるゴミ), was released on December 4, 2019, featuring six tracks. However, like many bands during the COVID-19 pandemic, MISUI had to cancel live performances, including a planned show at Otsuka RED-Zone on March 28, 2020.

On June 24, 2020, MISUI released the maxi-single BAKA (バカ), followed by Kochuu (呼吸) on January 27, 2021, and Mizugane (汞) on July 14, 2021. The band continued to stay active throughout 2021, performing at various events, including a twoman live with SCAPEGOAT on August 4, 2021, and a coupling tour titled Issuishiken (一水四見) with ZON, JE:NOVA and LAY ABOUT WORLD, which ran from August 16 to August 25, 2021.

Their debut full-length album, shinibasho (死場所), was released on April 13, 2022. Later that year, drummer LANA had to pause activities due to a surgery, which led to his temporary absence from the band's performances, including their live show at Shibuya WWW on July 28, 2022. He resumed activities on October 14, 2022.

In May 2023, MISUI signed with PARAGUAS INC., marking a new chapter for the band. On July 26, 2023, they introduced a month-limited militaristic costume set, used exclusively during performances in August. Throughout that month, the band participated in several twoman live events, including performances with Kebyo (仮病), JIGSAW (ジグソウ), MAMA., Zeke Deux, and MEME.
