SYK was born in 1984. He began playing guitar at age 14, and subsequently composing music and writing lyrics at age 15. He formed several bands during his teenager period, basically focusing on thrash and heavy metal; heavier genres than what he prefers to do now.

By the age of 19, he tended to explore the musical quality and diversity of the '70s, basically impressed by the mellow sound and melodic structure of classic, experimental and psychedelic rock. The traces of his musical improvement can be seen in songs like "Mystery (2006)" and "On My Canvas (2008)".

Since his first attempts of composing music in 1999, he has written approximately 40 songs; which include many genres such as heavy metal, hard rock, soft rock, instrumental ballads, power ballads, melancholic and melodic rock.
