Hate Your Way Lyrics

I hate your way
I don't care what you say
I hate your way
I don't care
And I'm only half there
So I don't care

They can cut me down
'Til I'm the talk of the town
I'm a fool for you
Had to sell my soul
But you were so rock and roll
I'm a fool for you
I hate your way
A little more every day
I hate your way
A little more
And I could leave but what for
A little more

They can cut me down
'Til I'm the talk of the town
I'm a fool for you
Had to sell my soul
But you were so rock and roll
I'm a fool for you
You

And it's wicked
To be so stupid
Man it's stupid
To be so dumb
I'm getting crooked
I can feel it
I can feel it in my bones

They can cut me down
'Til I'm the talk of the town
I'm a fool for you
Had to sell my soul
But you were so rock and roll
I'm a fool for you
I'm a fool for you
You were so rock and roll
I'm a fool for you
I'm a fool for you

Nina Rachel Shapiro Gordon is an American rock singer. Co-founder of the band Veruca Salt, Gordon pioneered and revived Bangles inspired pop-rock for the mid-'90s grunge generation. She quickly became known for her instantly infectious power-pop hooks and melodies, writing Veruca Salt hits "Seether" and "Volcano Girls". Since leaving Veruca Salt in 1998, she has released the successful solo album Tonight and the Rest of My Life, written songs for Fefe Dobson, Courtney Jaye and has now released her second solo album, Bleeding Heart Graffiti, on August 8, 2006.

Gordon gave birth to her first child (a girl) on November 21, 2006. She called her "Ivy Nightingale Russo". The father of the baby is musician Jeff Russo (of Tonic).

In 2013, Nina became part of the reformed original line-up of Veruca Salt. They are currently writing new material. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
