Air Drawn Dagger is a rock band based in Sheffield. An eclectic mix of electronic, grunge, punk, and angst-pop sounds. The mains influences of the band's sonority are My Chemical Romance and Paramore.

The name Air Drawn Dagger comes from Macbeth as it is a “characterization of an emotional outburst”.

A band born in the back of a cake shop in Sheffield, this is how Air Drawn Dagger began. Guitarist Lewis and vocalist Maisie immediately began writing songs in her shop after hours after meeting in Sheffield. The duo quickly found themselves playing to everyone from old punks at Hardcore shows to young couples in Tapas restaurants. This is where they cut their teeth winning over diverse crowds.

Their debut release in 2015 received heavy support from BBC Introducing and the band began building up a cult fan base constantly gigging across the UK.

The band were quickly signed to a publishing deal in 2016 and released an EP to a sold hometown show at Sheffield’s legendary Corporation. This release received overwhelming praise from the underground press such as Hit The Floor, Mosh & Punktastic as well as further support from BBC Introducing.
