Headphones (feat. LOLO) Lyrics

Cinderella's gone to NYC
Wants to shave her hair and disappear
18 years of never feeling pretty,
Says she's finally thinking clear!
Ain't too proud to swim to drown my baby
Ain't too proud to sink all see it through

She say everybody wants to be with me,
I got all I need
I feel invincible, my headphones on
Everybody pose for magazines
All just noise to me
I feel invincible, my headphones on
Ooh oh oh
My headphones on
Ooh oh oh
My headphones on!

If anybody comes around to find me,
If anybody ask for me, she said
Tell 'em all I'm in the deep and singing
If it's music in my head
Ain't too proud to swim to drown my baby
Ain't too proud to sink all see it through

She say everybody wants to be with me,
I got all I need
I feel invincible, my headphones on
Everybody pose for magazines
It's all just noise to me
I feel invincible, my headphones on
Ooh oh oh
My headphones on
Ooh oh oh
My headphones on
I feel invincible
My headphones on!

People talking in their sleep,
Can't see the forest for the trees,
Clocks starts ticking lottery, oh oh oh
A new world, same old crowd
Good thinks wish, but bad things shout
I don't hear 'em now!

She say everybody wants to be with me,
I got all I need
I feel invincible, my headphones on
Everybody pose for magazines
It's all just noise to me
I feel invincible, my headphones on
Ooh oh oh
My headphones on
Ooh oh oh
My headphones on
I feel invincible
My headphones on!

The members of his band have changed over the past years. Among others, he has been accompanied by Aben Eubanks on guitar, keys and vocals, but later replaced by Aaron Tap. John Thomasson has been his bassist since 2004. Jason McKenzie was on drums until Fall 2006; Nick Amoroso on two tours from Fall 2007 through Winter 2008. His current drummer is Konrad Meissner.
