Hold Me Tight Lyrics

You cross the room to me
put a little bit of paper in my hand then leave
and as the door goes bang
there's a little bit inside me that hopes it is blank

but as the words you wrote are burning in my head they keep on turning
they say hold me tight,
cos im loosing all the energy to fight
yeh hold me tight,
cos im loosing all the energy to fight

now i should run outside
i should be running after you
i should need to cry
oh but i dont i stay coz there's a litte bit inside me that likes this pain

and as the words you wrote are burning in my head they keep on turning they say hold me tight,
cos im loosing all the energy to fight yeh hold me tight,
cos im loosing all the energy to fight for you

so i threw it away laying next to the others that had the same reframe
hold me tight, coz im loosing all the energy to fight yeh hold me tight ive been throwing pointless flares into your night
so hold me tight,
cos im loosing all the energy to fight
so hold me tight,
cos im loosing all the energy ahhh yeh im loosing all the energy to fight
