OBT, an acronym for Omo Baba Teacher (Yoruba for The Teacher's child), is a Nigerian singer, song-writer, music producer and performer currently based in South Africa.

Born February 4, 1995; OBT (real name, Adigun Samson Adeyinka), was raised on a combination of Fuji, Juju, Highlife and Gospel music. At the age of twelve he taught himself to play the drums. His passion for creating music soon led to his enrollment in a music production academy, first in Nigeria, then subsequently in South Africa, where he now resides for the duration of his studies.
