Tony is known not only as a producer, performer, guitarist and artist, but also as a serious vocalist who can capture the audience attention. As a self-taught musician in his own right, he also loves to teach students of all ages that are eager to learn Guitar, Vocals or Bass guitar. A skillful improviser, Tony explores the depths of the imagination in full view of the audience-and he is breathtaking to watch.

INFLUENCES:
Born in Portsmouth Virginia, Tony started playing music and performing in the family Gospel group, “The Copeland Singers”. And he hasn’t stopped since.
Growing up he was greatly inspired by the world renowned writer, producer and lead vocalist “Frankie Beverly” of the R&B group “Maze featuring Frankie Beverly”. Seeing Frankie Beverly and Maze live really opened his eyes to the potential artistry of the performing medium.

TRAINING:
Tony is a self-taught writer, producer, musician and vocalist, receiving most of his training from playing and performing with groups such as, The Peerless Four, Push, Code Red, Tunji, Ole and Crown of Honor, The Scotts and Eli King just to name a few.

EXPERIENCE:
Tony has worked for over 25 years as a musician. As a producer and jazz musician he has toured all over the country and many parts of the world performing in theatres, schools, arenas and concert halls.
