Jam Hsiao / 蕭敬騰 discovered his passion for music when he was around fifteen. At the time he started experimenting with the jazz drum which he mastered two years later. Afterwards, Hsiao taught himself how to play the keyboard and became a pub singer at the age of eighteen. He skyrocketed to fame in 2007 after he appeared as a challenger on Taiwan's popular singing competition program One Million Star and went head to head against Aska Yang.
