Anuv Jain, born on Saturday, March 11, 1995 (age 29, as of 2024), in Ludhiana, Punjab.
He is an Indian singer-songwriter and music composer known for his soulful indie music. He grew up in Ludhiana alongside his twin sister, Anigha Jain, and later moved to Mumbai to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
In 2012, Anuv took a leap of faith and created a YouTube channel dedicated to sharing his art. His first song “Meri Baaton Me Tu”, uploaded the same year, marked the beginning of his music career. The song received plenty of praise, encouraging him to continue creating music. Over the years, his next releases, such as “Baarishein”, “Ocean”, “Riha”, “Alag Aasmaan” and “Gul” were widely loved tracks, particularly among fans of India's exploding independent music scene.
His tracks regularly explore themes of love, loss, self-reflection, and personal experiences, resonating deeply with audiences. The song “Maula” is extremely personal, as it is dedicated to his late father and written from the perspective of his sister. His 2023 track, “Husn” topped Apple Music India and Spotify India charts, earning him widespread recognition. Since then his latest releases, for example “Jo Tum Mere Ho”, are also topping the streaming charts.
He was also invited as a TEDx speaker, sharing info about his journey and experiences in the indie music scene. He has proven himself as an influential artist in India's indie music community.
