Emir Taha (born 1997) is a London-based artist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter from Turkey, known for his unique fusion of indie, Turkish pop, R&B, and lo-fi elements. Born in the coastal city of Antalya and raised in Ankara, Taha moved frequently throughout Turkey during his childhood, which enriched his musical perspective and influences. He began his artistic journey by self-teaching himself production software, subsequently releasing music on SoundCloud. His early work caught the attention of Turkish pop megastar Kenan Doğulu, who invited Taha to support him on tour and collaborate in the studio.

In 2020, Taha gained acclaim with his debut EP Hoppa (pt. 1), which featured the breakthrough single "Huyu Suyu." This project showcased his ability to blend alternative R&B and experimental pop with the traditional folk music of his homeland, delivered in both Turkish and English. The following year, he released Hoppa (pt. 2), another six-track collection that further exemplified his innovative sound, bridging Eastern and Western musical traditions.

Currently residing in Brixton, South London, Taha continues to develop his music, drawing inspiration from late-night jam sessions with fellow musicians and producers, including Jay Moon, Pablo Bowman, Detonate, Felix Joseph, and Al Shux. His work is characterized by evocative lyrical themes and a high-concept metaphorical style that reflects his dual cultural heritage.
