Sherie René Scott is a Broadway actress. Her last part on broadway was Ursula in Disney's The Little Mermaid .

Sherie's other broadway credits also include Rent (Maureen), Aida (Amneris, OBC), Grease (Marty), The Who's Tommy (Sally Simpson), and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Christine).

Her Off Broadway credits include Faust (Martha), Debbie Does Dallas (Debbie), and Jason Robert Brown's incredible two person show, The Last Five Years (Cathy), which she performed with the fabulous Norbert Leo Butz, a good friend with whom she has also done Rent and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

Sherie has also recorded a solo album called Sherie René. . .Men I've Had.

Sherie was nominated in 2005 for a Tony and a Drama Desk Award for Best Actress for originating the role of Christine Colgate in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. She received a deserved Drama Desk nomination for Cathy in the Last Five Years in 2002. In 2006 received a Drama Desk Special Award for her dedication to the preservation of musical theater through cast recordings, which she produces through her company, Sh-K-Boom Records.
