I'll See You in My Dreams Lyrics

Gone,
The voice that used to fill the room
Is all but gone
An echo of a perfect love

That ended wrong
Girl, we tried so hard
When love was on our side

And yesterday will always be the reason why
You keep comin'
You keep comin' back

You keep comin' back for more
I'll see you in my dreams
There we'll be safe tonight
From the lonely days of memory

I'll see you in my dreams, oh, oh, oh...
Time,
Time will never be a friend of mine again

It tries to make your memory fade,
But I won't let it end
Let the sun go down,

So I can drift away
Let me close my eyes

And live another day
You keep comin'
You keep comin' back
You keep comin' back for more
I'll see you in my dreams
There we'll be safe tonight
From the lonely days of memory
I'll see you in my dreams, oh!

(Solo: Guitar)

The truth,
Oh it's there for you to see
Sometimes it's painful to be on your own,
On your own!
I'll see you in my dreams
There we'll be safe tonight
From the lonely days of memory
I'll see you in my dreams
Back in my arms again
And no matter what tomorrow brings
I'll see you in my dreams
Oh, oh, oh!
Oh!!!

There are three bands that go by the name of Giant.

1) An American aor/hard rock band that was formed in 1987 by brothers Dann and David Huff. The band had one hit single with its power ballad I'll See You In My Dreams. They disbanded in the early 90's after two studio albums. Dann Huff revived the Giant name in 2001 with the album entitled, "III". Dann is a high-demand session player and producer in Nashville who has worked with many artists from Faith Hill to Megadeth.

2) (Current) An experimental doom metal band in the vein of Isis, Pelican and Neurosis hailing from North Carolina. They have released a EP (Song) as well as a split with past tour mates Tides. Giant blend innovative instrumentation, including strings and organ, with their heavy, towering, yet melodic sound. They uphold strong anti-capitalist, vegan, straightedge ideals, and both intellectual and deeply passionate elements can found in their music and lyrics. Giant has released music through Southern Empire records and Level Plane and recently signed to The End records.

The band have now changed their name to Brave Young. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
