Antonio Herrera (Lucena, Córdoba), known professionally as DJ Toner, is a Spanish DJ and record producer based in Granada. During his 30 year career, DJ Toner has worked with artists such as Enrique Morente, Jorge Pardo, Erik Truffaz, BluRum13 and Martha High. He was awarded Best Experimental DJ for the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.
 
His production style stands out for his fusion and experimentation with different genres, clear influenced by middle times: jazz, hip hop, soul, funk, downtempo, house and electronic music. These styles usually star in his sessions and are characterized by an energetic and contagious groove which shares the space with slow beats and club sounds, generating elegant sets full of imagination and contrasts.
 
He is considered a deejay belonging to the old school. His techniques in turntablism, mixing and production have led to him becoming a recognized artist in the urban art scene and black music of his country. This has allowed him to expand his sound horizons and work with artists of diverse styles such as Enrique Morente, La Excepción, Amparanoia, Mucho Muchacho, Gata Cattana, Jorge Pardo, Erik Truffaz, The New Mastersounds or Martha High (chorist of James Brown).
 
Throughout his artistic career, DJ Toner has shared the stage with other deejays and musicians, such as DJ Vadim, Buscemi, Kid Koala, Big Boss Man, Jimi Tenor, Richard Thair (Red Snaper), DJ Food, Terminator X (Public Enemy), Malente or Mad Professor, to name a few. He has also participated in many events and festivals such as Sónar, FIB Benicassim, Winter Music Conference (Miami), Espárrago Rock, Etnosur, SensXperiment, Madrid es Negro, or the Granada International Jazz Festival.
