Nomia creates a powerful, yet beautiful wall of sound. Atmospheric textures and rhythms grow organically and crescendo to a roaring peak. Intricately layered guitar melodies intertwine with unstoppable beats and crushing bass. The guitar harmonies blend sweetly while the rhythms create a thunderous, and pulsating back bone that brings it to a beautiful rendezvous.
They are an american instrumental, experimental, rock quartet from Minneapolis, MN. They formed in 2006, and have self released two demo EP's handmade that were exclusively sold at shows that have immediately sold out with each small pressing. Soon to follow will be their first full length 'Iron and Rust'. The result is an aesthetic all its own, straddling numerous genres while defying precise categorization. Nomia’s ambitious debut, recorded and produced by Adam Tucker, manages to be simultaneously beautiful, powerful, and massively loud.
