With Sails Ahead was formed out of a love for post-hardcore music and a dream to contribute new sounds to the alternative scene. Originally born out of the New Jersey bedroom studio of Sierra Binondo, the outfit solidified after the addition of Josef Warner-Reyes, Jaime Martinez, Ryan Venancio, and Santino Costa in 2017. During the course of their career, they have built a humble following in the US through touring, and sharing the stage with artists like Hail the Sun, Royal Coda, Tilian Pearson of Dance Gavin Dance, A Lot Like Birds, and Sianvar. The band’s enthusiasm for pushing on and defying the boundaries of post-hardcore hasn’t waned, and they look forward to releasing an LP one day soon.
