Biography:
The band was founded by Jens Kroenert in 2003. Human End’s vision is to incorporate beautiful and dark majestic melodic landscapes into brutal outbursts of sheer violence and raw speed to create a truly apocalyptic sound that opens the gates of hell and sometimes also to heaven. He has yet failed to do so but will keep trying!
Being torn apart between Hardcore Techno, Industrial music, Black/Deathmetal and Film-scores, Human End decided to throw all these elements together and create something that perhaps has not seen the light ever before. It is his soundtrack to the apocalypse! After listening to Hardcore Techno since about 1993, Human End got bored by 95 with the available music on the market and decided to do something about this. Therefore in the incarnation of “Jensen” he started producing his own music. Eventually his interest shifted from Hardcore Techno to Black/Deathmetal around ‘97 because the pure speed, rawness and darkness were missing in Hardcore! Having never known Blackmetal before, he discovered something in this music that he didn’t know existed in extreme music: Majestic, even film score like darkness and beauty. For a long time Human End dwelled in the realm of guitars, double bass and blackmetal screams until he somehow found his way back into the hardcore techno movement. But he was not the same. Bands like Samael, Emperor and Limbonic Art gave him a gift with their music that had far reaching consequences for his sound. In 2003 Human End was truly born with the production of his first full length concept album called The Sin War and later the follow up The Ultimate Downfall. The Sin War still consisted purely of dark hardcore techno symphonies without any vocals but latest since The Ultimate Downfall; Human End became more and more adept in putting lyrics to paper and at last into a microphone. His third and latest effort a massive, nearly 80 minutes concept album called Empire is still in work since 2005 and has thought Human End valuable lessons in vocal recording and songwriting during its progress. Now Human End can build on these foundations and pursue his mission of creating brutal, apocalyptic music that retains the beauty, grandeur and sadness of gothic classical film music.
There really is no grand future plan for the band or anything like. Human End does not try to be special or the next big thing. Human End simply follows his instinct and tries to create the soundtrack to his imagination and will continue doing so as long as possible!
Whether Human End is something special or not is really up to the listener. Human End does not care about any rules or genres and probably stomps on a hundred different sound conventions and style restrictions at the same time. Human End could not care less and will continue to pursue his personal mission until the end of days. If it creates the soundtrack for this special occasion, even better!
