Chuck Vermette, the virtuoso also known by the pseudonyms "Tenacious V" and "Chuckethead", was bio-mechanically created in a laboratory and was released into the wild. He was soon befriended by a pack of wolverines and learned the ways of shred passed down throughout wolverine history. At the age of 16, he left his new-found family to return back to the society that rejected him.

To this day, he uses his mastery of such techinques as "pick-sliding", "sweeping", and "tapping" to captivate and to capture the listener's imagination.
