The Natural started in Chicago, IL after the dissolution of a previous band, Here Comes the Neighborhood. While HCTN was a myriad of powerpop and pop-punk influences, The Natural took on a more mature view of music with their still pop-oriented but better crafted indie rock.

Made up by guitarists/vocalists Joe Olson and Dustin Eck, keyboardist/vocalist Stephen Schmuldt, bassist Will Garza, and drummer/vocalist Will Wisniewski, these boys have proven that it doesn't take technical mayhem or guttural growls to make it in the scene.
