2. Aurora Falls is a new flame in a music scene plagued by a winter of impassive songs and cliche appearances. They believe that the music should speak to you; it should make you feel. Aurora Falls is comprised of longtime friends Jacob Stark and Nick Angelo. The two had previously made noise in their hometown of Las Vegas in local mainstay bands such as Anias and With Broken Wings.

The end of 2007 marked a new chapter for them as they decided to come together and make Aurora Falls their full time creative endeavor. In March 2008, bassist Robbie Marsh and drummer Danny Salazar completed the lineup. Angelo's guitar leads soaring and falling over Stark's contagious melodies make it impossible for you not to sing along.

In the short time since Aurora Falls first made their debut in January, they were picked to perform on the Kevin Says Stage at this year's Warped Tour in Salt Lake City June 28, 2008. Aurora Falls has also been a spotlighted band on Sonicbids.com in June, the featured band for June 2008 on Streetwise.com, a featured band in MusicNation.com's June 30th newsletter, and semi-finalists in the Spin Magazine Hot Pursuit contest.

Desiring to bring back the catchy, unmistakable musicality of bands like Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, and Copeland, Aurora Falls is poised to come to the Las Vegas forefront with a new, fresh indie sound.
