Julien, born in Eindhoven, the Netherlands on 21 January 1989. Having a french mother and english father, he has a dual (french / dutch) nationality. At the age of 16 in early 2005, he started to create his own electronic music. He finished his bachelor in Composition & Music Production at the HKU in the Netherlands in 2012.

His fathers music taste influenced Julien on an early age, showing him the work of Brian Eno, Mouse On Mars and Björk's band the Sugarcubes. Eno's working methods proved to be of interest of Juliens way of working, creating music like a painter instead of traditional linear and "horizontal" composing. Julien often compares his own music as sonic collageism, for the frantic combination of found and recorded samples that become a meaning on itself.

In 2015 he moved from Amsterdam to Sydney, Australia, coining the term being a digital nomad.
