THC la Familija was formed at the beginning of 2001. in Belgrade. Then THCLF consisted of four members: DJ Senka (Nenad Vukotić); Bore (Borko Vujičić); Zuluf (Stefan Gligorijević); Sale (Alexandar Zlatarov).
First official live concert was held on 4th April, 2003. at Dom Omladine, they were an opening act for hardcore band Philosophy Smile, the band counts that concert as their "birthday".
After many guest appearances at domestic tv & radio rap shows, also the concert activity rised, THC played at Akademija, Dom Omladina and many other Belgrade music clubs.
On one of these concerts, band met Petar Milovanić Pera, a young and talented musical producer, later he produced their underground hit Za Ulicu, Ortake.
They've met Lud, another hip-hop artist/producer who helped them record four demo songs, and soon after THC signed for Bassivity Music on April 2004.
Recording of the first album started from April 2004. till May 2007. , in the meantime DJ Senka left the band amicably.
Many gigs followed at Subotica, Novi Sad at Exit Festival, Zrenjanin, Kruševac, Niš, Velika Plana.
In 2006. 50 Cent held a concert at Belgrade Arena, THC La Familija was the opening act.
Two videos were made to promote the first album, Tek Ludnica and THC feat. Coyote.
In 2009. THC La Familija released their second album Majmun Idzuo (phrase-slang term from the bands neighbourhood) with positive reactions from the critics and fans.
