David Lee Garza is known as the Godfather and is the leader of DLG y Los Musicales. At least three of his ex-singers went on to outstanding solo careers, like Emilio Navaira, Jay Perez, and Ram Herrera. The early 90's recording, Con El Tiempo with a young Jay Perez as singer, is still a very popular Tejano CD Los Musicales is a large band--complete with a saxophone and the expected instruments.
