Last Hope Lyrics

I don't even know myself at all
I thought I would be happy by now
The more I try to push it I realize
Gotta let go of control

Gotta let it happen
Gotta let it happen
Gotta let it happen
So let it happen

It's just a spark
But it's enough
To keep me going

And when it's dark out
No one's around
It keeps glowing

Every night I try my best to dream
Tomorrow makes it better
And I wake up to the cold reality
Not a thing has changed

But it will happen
Gotta let it happen
Gotta let it happen
Gotta let it happen

It's just a spark
But it's enough
To keep me going

And when it's dark out
No one's around
It keeps glowing (ah)

It's just a spark
But it's enough
To keep me going

And when it's dark out
No one's around
It keeps glowing

And the salt in my wounds
Isn't burning anymore than it used to
It's not that I don't feel the pain
It's just I'm not afraid of hurting anymore

And the blood in these veins
Isn't pumping any less than it ever has
And that's the hope I have
The only thing I know is keeping me alive
Alive

Gotta let it happen
Gotta let it happen
Gotta let it happen
Gotta let it happen

Gotta let it happen
Gotta let it happen
Gotta let it happen
Gotta let it happen

It's just a spark
But it's enough
To keep me going
(So if I let go of control)
(Now, I can be strong)

And when it's dark out
No one's around
It keeps glowing (ah)
It's just a spark
But it's enough
To keep me going
(So if I keep my eyes close)
(With the blind hope)
And when it's dark out
No one's around
It keeps glowing
Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah
Ah-ah-ah, ah-ah
Ah-ah, ah-ah-ah
Ah-ah, ah-ah
Mm-mm-mm, ah-ah.
Mm-mm, mm-mm-mm
Mm-mm

Paramore is an American Grammy-award winning genre-neutral band formed in Franklin, Tennessee, United States in 2004. The band currently consists of Hayley Williams (vocals), Taylor York (guitar) and Zac Farro (drums). They have released five studio albums: All We Know Is Falling (2005), RIOT! Paramore, as a quartet, released their debut studio album, All We Know Is Falling, in 2005. The band rose to prominence in 2007 after the release of the hit single Misery Business from their second studio album Riot!. Crushcrushcrush, That's What You Get were released as the following singles experiencing commercial success. The band was nominated for "Best New Artist" at the 2008 Grammy Awards. The band announced the official line-up addition of Taylor York in June 2009 prior to the release of Brand New Eyes due later the same year. Josh Farro (guitar) and his brother Zac Farro left the band the following year, resulting in Paramore continued as a trio.

From 2013 to 2014, Paramore released several singles from the self-titled album, including the singles Still Into You, Ain't It Fun. The latter became the band's highest peaking single as well as their first Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned the band their first Grammy award for "Best Rock Song" the following year. At the end of 2015, it was reported Jeremy Davis (bass guitar) left the band.

In 2017, Zac Farro officially rejoined the band, prior to the release of their fifth studio album, After Laughter. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
