Adam Shenk, a singer and songwriter based in Boston, is best known for his energetic performances and compelling, well-crafted songs. Many fans believe that his truest artistic self comes out when he is playing piano and singing, but Adam also enjoys entertaining audiences with his quirky personality and dynamic showmanship.

At a young age, Adam studied at the American Boychoir School, where his musicianship was honed every day. Music quickly became a necessity for him, something that completed him. Soon Adam was hungry to master other art forms. He studied dance intensively, and delved into theater at Interlochen Center for the Arts. At Boston Conservatory he studied musical theatre. However, Adam soon realized that he needed to write and perform his own music, and quickly transferred to Berklee College of Music, where he studied voice and songwriting.

While at Berklee, Adam garnered positive feedback from his peers and professors alike. One teacher noted that "he already has a unique voice as a writer and performer, and has that intangible something that electrifies a room when he shares his music." Another said "his sensitivity as an artist does not outweigh his desire to take the risks he needs to grow as a musician."

Adam's exposure to many different styles of music has fueled his desire to create his own unique sound. He describes his genre as "neo-pop," fusing together elements of pop, R&B, hip-hop, jazz, and rock. Having already worn many hats - director, actor, singer, dancer, pianist, and songwriter, Adam is an emerging artist with truly unusual gifts to share. His EP, titled 'If Ya Like This', will be released in July 2007.
