Last One Standing Lyrics

I need this like air in my lungs
This element tears through my bones
It keeps me fighting
Well I, emotions that swim through my veins
A fever that shows in my face
I'm not hiding
And this fire is alive in your eyes

Well I can barely breathe
And I can hear the dark hearts marching
I won't go down easily
Stay here by my side
And we will be the last ones standing
Hold my hand and kiss me before the hearts collide

Cold, the feeling of fear on my skin

Dying to find a way in the silver lining
The stars, they burn out like dreams all around
Falling like rain to the ground
But you're still shining
And this fire is alive in your eyes

Well I can barely breathe
And I can hear the dark hearts marching
I won't go down easily
Stay here by my side
And we will be the last ones standing
Hold my hand and kiss me before the hearts collide

Don't wake me up
I feel your touch
Your love like blood runs through me
You consume me

Well I can barely breathe
And I can hear the dark hearts marching
I won't go down easily
Stay here by my side
And we will be the last ones standing
Hold my hand and kiss me before the hearts collide

Hot Chelle Rae was Nashville pop rock band. They began with a meeting etween singer-songwriter Nash Overstreet and guitarist Ryan Follese in 2005. After several changes, they eventually finalised their line up as Follese (lead vocalist), Overstreet (lead guitarist) plus Ian Keaggy (bass) and Jamie Follese (drums) and named themselves after their first "dedicated" fan, Chelle Rae.

All four Hot Chelle Rae members have family connections to other entertainers. Lead guitarist Nash Overstreet is the son of Country songwriter Paul Overstreet. His brother, Chord Overstreet, is an actor best known for playing Sam on Glee. Vocalist Ryan Follese and drummer Jamie Follese's father, Keith Follese, is also a country songwriter. Bass player Ian Keaggy is the son of contemporary Christian singer/guitarist Phil Keaggy.

They were signed to Jive Records in October 2008, and then began work on their first album, Lovesick Electric, which was released on October 23, 2009. Tonight Tonight became their first song to enter the Hot 100 when it debuted at #93 on the chart dated April 30, 2011.

Their song, I Like To Dance, being featured on the show "So You Think You Can Dance," was their first released single. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
