Let Me Go Lyrics

You say I'm not worthy
You say I'm not good enough
Why you tryin' to hurt me?
You say I don't measure up
Can't you see that I'm starving
Stand by and watch me wasting away
Keeping your part in
These old wounds don't heal
Love me or Let me go,
Destroy me, or make whole
Is as simple as that
You either do or you don't
Take me forever or leave me alone
Just love me or Let me go
OR LET ME GO!
Caught in the middle of something I can't explain
This where it ends now,
Between a rock and hurricane
Can't you see that I'm starving
Stand by and watch me wasting away
Keeping your part in
These old wounds don't heal!
Love me or Let me go,
Destroy me, or make whole
Is as simple as that
You either do or you don't
Take me forever or leave me alone!
Just love me or Let me go
OR LET ME GO!
The highs and the lows,
To best and to worst
That's what you gave me
All that is left appointment to field
But deepest of ending
love me or Let me go
love me or Let me go
love me or Let me go
Said I don't wanna hurt no more
love me or Let me go
love me or Let me go
love me or Let me go
love me or Let me go
I don't wanna hurt no more!
Love me or Let me go,
Destroy me, or make whole
Is as simple as that
You either do or you don't
Take me forever or leave me alone!
Just love me or Let me go
OR LET ME GO!

A rising star on the dance music scene, Kimberly Cole is making waves with her single “Smack You,” which Seventeen Magazine calls an “incredibly addictive dance-pop tune.” Having opened for acts like Katy Perry, LMFAO and Shiny Toy Guns, Cole is beginning to make her mark as a headliner.

The title track off her debut album, Bad Girls Club (Oxygen Media/iTunes), “Smack You” is a girlfight-themed song about standing up for yourself, which Cole dedicates to “anyone who has ever been a victim of bullying.” The edgy, upbeat song is getting Top 40 radio and mix show adds across the U.S. and just broke the Top 5 on the Billboard Dance Chart. The video has a Tarantino-inspired Kill Bill-style fight club theme. “Smack You” was featured on the fifth season of the Oxygen reality show “The Bad Girls Club,” a collaboration which led the network to support the release of her first full-length album.

Bad Girls Club represents a solid debut effort for Cole, infused with catchy tunes, clever lyrics and irresistible beats. She co-wrote all of the songs with Grammy-nominated producer/writer Jeeve (Nicole Scherzinger, Paulina Rubio, Carlos Santana), joined by the songwriting talents of Philip Lawrence (Bruno Mars, Flo Rida, Cee-Lo) and The Writing Camp (Beyonce, Britney Spears, Rihanna). From the sexy “Cherry Pop” and “Pocket Rocket” to the party-hearty beat of “Get Stupid” to such relationship-driven tracks as “Psycho,” “Walk of Shame” and the comedy-laced “Three Way,” Cole establishes herself as a talent both fresh and fearless.

A native of Orange County, California, Kimberly Cole studied piano, voice and dance beginning at the tender age of four. But it was in her teenage years when her skills all came together, performing for huge audiences as a champion competitive artistic roller skater, a demanding sport where she learned how to tell a story with her body and enthrall arena-sized crowds by incorporating hip-hop and break-dance into electrifying routines. While earning a reputation as a spunky on-camera talent, in hosting gigs for MTV and the X Music Network, she also cultivated her acting talents, co-starring with Eliza Dushku in the Fox series “Dollhouse.” Cole has also done national commercial work including Old Navy, Mattel, Mountain Dew, Skechers and Pantene, just to name a few.

As a nascent musical artist, Cole has performed on soundtracks for such films as Fame, and her song “I Know” accompanies the closing credits of Mean Girls 2. Lending her talents to countless commercials, the charismatic artist has performed alongside Lenny Kravitz, Jessica Simpson, Will Smith, and recently at The Playboy Mansion’s annual Kandy Masquerade.

Cole has already earned such ardent supporters as celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, and Clear Channel’s iHeart Radio has pegged her as “One to Watch.” Clearly, fans have been paying attention: Twitter has spotlighted her as one of its featured users, with well over 1.2 million followers.
