What are these guys all about?

Novoid was founded in 2015 in Diepoldsau, as a church band to spread „joy through music“. After several complaints regarding noise level, the 5 rock enthusiasts decide to become independent. „The mission remains the same, but now we're playing our own style.“ according to the founder Phil Keller.

With their high-energy stage presence, they get several appearances to play their own songs. As at the „Scene Openair“ in Lustenau and they qualify for the finals at the Rheintal Soundz competition 2016. Their demo album „Living In Hell“ follows.

After playing at the RHEMA in Altstätten and the „Rock am Fels“ in Montlingen, they qualify to participate at the bandXost contest.
„Hard rock is far from dead, especially not in the Rhine Valley and not at the Rhema.“ so commented the magazine „Der Rheintaler“ in June.

True to their mission: „Let There Be Solid Rock!“ they delight the audience at the Conrad Sohm, as the supporting act of the world-famous British hard rock band URIAH HEEP.

In autumn 2018 they release their second Album „PAINTLESS“, with 11 freshly written songs.
The band plays on different stages and qualifies again for participation in the bandXost competition. For personal reasons, two musicians follow different paths. The Band kicks off 2020 with a new drummer and a new rhythm guitarist, releasing six new songs and working on a new Album.​

In December 2020, they release „ORNAMENT“.
A new album with 45 minutes of pure solid rock, packed into 10 powerful, riff-rich, energetic songs.
„The album presents itself as rich in variety, creative, virtuoso and very entertaining. This is how straight rock sounds. With lot's of pressure to the front...“, says Christian Imhof, publisher, QULTUR magazine.

Unfortunately, all concerts are canceled due to the pandemic. The band appears at the 1st Alive Festival in Bregenz on Lake Constance, and releases the music video „Never Stop“ in 2021. NOVOID is featured on the „Metal Is Forever, Rockcast Show“ and takes part during the international „Metal Is Forever Rock Marathon“.

As supporting act for the internationally renowned hard rock band SHAKRA, which is often mentioned in connection with the world-famous GOTTHART, they inspire press and audience alike. "I was there to take a closer look at both bands live, and I was surprised and got really rock'd, especially by the supporting act." so Max Weiss for Qultur Magazine in June 2022.​
