Mary Neshamah Rowe is an Arkansas native with world class experience! As a classically trained vocalist, she brings her ethereal operatic sound to her unique brand of hip hop.
Enchanted in childhood by her older sister’s Sailor Moon VHS collection, she took the Japanese term “Mahou Shoujo” (“Magical Girl”) and customized it to represent Black Girl Magic in its purest form.
She draws inspiration from an eclectic spread of artists including Snail's House, Everything Everything, Dance Gavin Dance, Lizzo, Kero Kero Bonito, Kendrick Lamar, and countless others.
She received her bachelors in Music Education at The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and is currently pursuing a masters in Vocal Performance at the University of Central Arkansas.
