Rasmus Helner is a danish rock musician behind the album fire in a stone, an album recorded in collaboration with Danish dub-hero and producer EMO and with a little help from some cool musicians like Pharfar (from Bikstok Røgsystem) and Daryl Johnson (who has played with Peter Gabriel, Daniel Lanois, Bob Dylan among others) The debut album features 11 well written songs that will sneak in on you when you least expect it. The album leans on american blues and roots-rock, and a singer-songwriter tradition and sound with dobro guitars, slide and groovy beats.

About Rasmus Helner:
• Started out at the age of 10 playing drums, radio debut in 1983.
• Played in Danish pop/rock act Mono (DK), big succes with songs like: ”NY” and ”Mexico”.
• The song “Mexico” was nominated for ”Jack award of the year” at Danish national radio.

• Moves to London, play live at Xfm-London.
• Supporting dub producer EMO in New York, does PR-gigs for EMO in several NY clubs and radios.
